After a day of kicking back in Narita and getting setup at the hotel it was time to dust off the camera gear and head out to meet Toby Nikolas and his R33. Before doing that, I took a detour via Akihabara.
That feeling of walking through immigration and into the arrivals hall at Narita airport is a refreshing one. After 6 years calling this place home it is always good to come back. This time round I have a few buddies in tow with me for the trip. While we were waiting on the last one to fly in I decided to kick back and relax in Narita.

I was sitting back watching the latest Formula One Grand Prix recently, and despite being a seasoned motorsport fan, I am still astounded at how much of a well-oiled machine the F1 circus is. Pitstops that happen quicker than you sneeze, and today’s level of safety is certainly something to be proud of. I thought to myself ‘I bet none of these drivers get in their cars wondering if they will ever return to their pit garage’.
