At the start of 2018, I adopted a ‘keep photography fun’ approach to this year. I got a message from a buddy of mine who had just got his new bunny all signed off. I sorted the importation of this genuine TRA-Kyoto kit from Japan so was quite keen to go for a ride in the completed product. Of course I grabbed the camera to flick off a couple of shots.
Here is what we ended up with.
Genuine Work M1 wheels were really the only option for this one…
This 180 sounds a little different to most others, mainly because it is LS-powered. An angry rumble to the exhaust, and oodles of torque make it as crazy internally as externally.
By the time we had gone for a drive, night had fallen so we found another spot, parked up and the camera came out again.
Many will now recognise the car as having a new set of decals on the side and you would be right. ‘Yazi’ is now in its second evolution aesthetically.
I haven’t done too much night shooting as I much prefer using natural light, off camera flash has never really tickled me but it is always nice to get out of your comfort zone once in a while. Cheers to Elliot for the ride and time to ‘keep photography fun’.
