RWB New Zealand – Paying it back a bit more

After the emotional unveil of Waikato, a new day had dawned and rather than all parting ways, we were ready to start the rollercoaster all over again.  RWB 001 was in the books, and now it was time for Nan’s 964 to get the special Nakai-san treatment.

Southern Cross – RWB Australia #1 Day Two

As the sun crept in through the windows again early Friday morning, it was time to make my way back towards Auto Racing Technik.  En-route I had been stopping off at this amazing little Greek breakfast cafe, bright smiles, and fantastic coffee meant every day started off just perfectly.

Southern Cross – RWB Australia #1 Preview

RAUH-Welt Begriff has forged a status in the automotive world based on passion, inspiration and a pinch of ‘I don’t care what you think’.  Nakai-san embodies tortured artist, devout petrol head and is a man of few words, the mysterious eyes as dark as the oil stains on his hands.  With cars that polarise opinion unlike any other on earth, as soon as I heard my good friend was headed for Aussie, I booked myself a ticket to Melbourne.

Diamond in the RAUH

Improving on perfection is not an easy thing to do, particularly in the cut-throat tuning world. On the outskirts of Tokyo, one man had a vision, to take something that many feel couldn’t be improved on, ignored the stereotypes and did just that – perfected it.
